Sound isolation was a big issue in this room. Resilient channel was used with 2 layers of drywall and greenglue. The HVAC proved to be particularly challenging as there were runs going through the theater to feed other parts of the house.
U-571 depth charger at THX levels do not disturb those in the kitchen directly above the theater. Impressive.
