I had an existing room, but it was not treated at all. I wish I had known about Rives Audio before I built the room, but given the cronstraints I had they did an amazing job.
The bass traps were the biggest surprise to me. At each step of implementing the Rives Audio design I would pause for a month or so and listen to the changes. Each made a significant positive impact. But the last was the bass trapping. These were not easy to build, but so well worth it. The uniformity of the bass in the room now is astounding. It also had no negative effects the way so many other bass traps do--overly absorbing in other areas.
